La fresa es una fruta que contiene mucho jugo, contiene 90% de agua, de celulosa, de hierro, de vitaminas B, C, E, K, A y PP, sodio, silicio, calcio y azufre, magnesio, potasio, cloro. y aporta solamente 40 calorias por 100 gramos de fruta. La Fresa aumenta las defensas del organismo. Ayuda a luchar contra las bacterias y es diuretica. El jarabe de fresa ayuda a eliminar los calculos biliares. En uso externo (en mascarilla aplastadas sobre la cara) las fresas son utiles contra los problemas de la piel, las arrugas y la insolación.
